REPORTING
· This position will be based in Shanghai and report to GRC Technical Competency and Commercial Engineering Manager.
POSITION SUMMARY
· Provide DST Pre-Sales support to Sales Team across GRC.
· Provide technical, commercial and engineering leadership in DST application engineering and software space to enable customer success. This includes sales engagement, application expertise and post sales issue resolution. Provide technical support and advice to Technical Consultants, Solution Architects, SI's, OEMs and end user customers in the design of complex system solutions (application engineering).
· Assist in pre-sales activities by assisting the sales channel develop, maintain and support relationships that exceed customer expectations for responsiveness, support and product quality.
· Develop relationships and work closely with various internal groups including Rockwell Automaton Sales, local sales support groups, and the global Commercial Engineering organization.
· Build up competency of the Internal Rockwell Sales personnel and Channel partners.
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
· Detailed knowledge and extensive hands on experience of Drive Application. Knowledge and experience with Industrial Networks, PLC, HMI.
· 5+ years of relevant experience.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
· An Engineering Degree in Electrical or Electronics or Industrial Automation or equivalent relevant experience.
· Formal Business qualifications would be well regarded
